Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on October 15 inaugurated 21 development projects in Khowai and performed the Bhumi Pujan and laid the foundation stone for a multi-storey shopping complex with parking facilities at Subhas Park.
The projects, with a combined investment of ₹38.73 crore, are aimed at improving infrastructure, strengthening civic amenities and creating better opportunities for local businesses and residents.
Addressing the occasion, Saha said the initiatives reflected the state government’s commitment to accelerating development and building a prosperous, modern and Viksit Tripura.
The proposed shopping complex, equipped with parking facilities, is expected to strengthen commercial infrastructure in the area and provide improved facilities for traders and customers.
The projects form part of the state government’s broader development agenda to enhance public amenities, promote local economic activity and improve the quality of life for people in Khowai.
