GUWAHATI: Central Bank of India contributed ₹1.25 crore to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the ongoing floods in the state.
The contribution was made under the theme, “Every Centralite with Assam”, as a gesture of solidarity with flood-affected communities.
The bank said the donation reflected its commitment to assisting the state’s relief and rehabilitation initiatives and reaffirmed its resolve to stand with the people of Assam during the crisis.
Central Bank of India also stated that it remained committed to serving society through meaningful initiatives during times of need.
