Two youths set out on a public awareness journey seeking justice for Zubeen Garg, whom they consider the heartbeat of Assam.
Niranjan Saikia and Jayanta Basha from No. 1 Kaki in Lanka have begun a bicycle journey, carrying Zubeen’s photo, and heading towards locations connected to the singer.
They said their mission is not only to demand justice for Zubeen but also to raise awareness about a drug-free Assam, preventing child marriage, and discouraging multiple marriages.
Their first stop will be the Zubeen Kshetra, followed by a visit to the memorial of Sudhakantha Dr Bhupen Hazarika, and finally they plan to head to the Chief Minister’s Office.
The duo urged that justice for Zubeen Garg must be delivered at the earliest.
