A 25-year-old man allegedly killed his mother, sister, and younger brother before walking into a police station to surrender. The triple murder occurred on Monday in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area.

The accused, identified as Yashveer Singh, reached the Laxmi Nagar Police Station around 5 pm and informed officers that he had killed his family members over financial problems, according to a PTI report.

Singh told police that the victims were his mother, Kavita (46), his sister, Meghana (24), and his brother, Mukul (14).

“On receiving the information, police teams immediately rushed to the address provided by the man. Upon verification, the bodies of the woman and her two children were found inside the house,” a police official said, as quoted by PTI.

Further details are awaited as the investigation into the case continues.
