Simu Das was a member of the Indian team that lifted the title at the first-ever Visually Impaired Women’s T20 World Cup held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, defeating Nepal in the final.
The world champion extended her gratitude to the people of Katiyatal for their love and support, and also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
