Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on February 1, a Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) official confirmed.
Saha had darshan of the deity and participated in the customary rituals conducted at the hill shrine.
“He offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy at the Tirumala temple,” the official said.
Following the darshan, TTD authorities honoured the Chief Minister at the Ranganayakula Mandapam by presenting him with silk clothes and the temple’s prasadam, officials added.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams manages the Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati and oversees its religious and administrative affairs.
