Three people were found dead inside a parked car on the Peeragarhi flyover in Delhi on Sunday, police said.
Officials said a PCR call was received around 3.50 pm informing that the occupants of a vehicle were not responding. A police team rushed to the spot and discovered the bodies inside a white Tata Tiago.
The deceased have been identified as Randhir (76), Naresh Singh (47) and Laxmi Devi (40). Police confirmed that the owner of the vehicle is among those who died.
Sources indicated that poisoning is suspected to be the cause of death, as there were no visible signs of robbery, forced entry or struggle at the scene.
After the recovery, police conducted a detailed inspection of the vehicle. The bodies were later shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
Senior officers also visited the spot, and further investigation is underway. More details are expected once the post-mortem reports are available.
