Herd of Wild Elephants Blocks Dhodar Ali in Golaghat
A large herd of wild elephants blocked Dhodar Ali in Golaghat. On Tuesday night, the herd crossed the Dhansiri River through Abarghat and entered the Bholaguri and Garonga tea estates.
By Wednesday morning, as the elephants moved through the Garonga estate and reached Dhodar Ali, a huge crowd gathered to witness the scene.
It is believed that the herd wandered in due to a shortage of food in the Morongi area, prompting them to cross the Dhansiri River and take shelter in the region.
