A showcause notice has been issued to Congress leader Anowar Hussain Laskar.
Laskar had earlier alleged that a Congress leader had taken money in exchange for a party ticket. He even claimed that Rakibul Hussain was the mastermind behind the money collection.
He also levelled similar allegations against Ripun Bora and Bhupen Bora, accusing them of taking money as well.
