Notorious criminal ‘Pocha Gunda’, alias Ramesh Basfor, once again falls into the net of Jorhat Police.
Jorhat Police arrested Pocha along with a quantity of illegal drugs.
A search operation was carried out at Pocha’s residence in Garmur, during which police seized banned narcotics along with over ₹1.5 lakh in cash.
Pocha’s brother-in-law, Gopal Tanti, was also taken into custody.
Pocha Gunda has been linked to multiple criminal activities. Four years ago, he was injured in police firing.
