India’s Aditya L-1 spacecraft is on its way to the sun.
An Assamese scientist is involved in this campaign. She is Dr. Aishwanya Sharma, Professor, Department of Physics at Jorhat Bahana College, Jorhat.
Dr. Aishwanya Sharma from Assam has been appointed to study the complex processes of the sun. Also study the frequency of waves in the sun’s photosphere and the spectrum. It is to be noted that Dr. Sharma has been associated with this project since 2015.
